01 / The responsibility

What this room means

The Guild builds and maintains the system behind the world: inspection, architecture, candidate code, testing, proof and controlled release preparation. It is distinct from merchant website construction.

In the real system

Hermes Empire is the underlying technical estate: applications, databases, APIs, queues, model providers, connectors, schedulers, services and runtime infrastructure. The Guild describes the engineering responsibility for that estate, without asserting an unprovided release pipeline or toolchain.
